These are the 3 cards I actually got done at last weeks crop. I LOVE this paper. It is new at Hobby Lobby (along with all the canvas pieces and trims) I went back on Wednesday and bought the cream/black papers. I could not believe how much of it they had sold in just the few days since I had been there. The black flowers area also a new Paper Studio item there (they were completely out of them the other day) I did alter the one flower a bit and added the polka dot paper. I did not like the adhesive on those flowers....I had to put the back together plus I couldn't find any adhesive that would hold.....until the trusty glue gun came into the picture (they are holding now!)

Just a few pics from the crop. ....hope you like them! It was an awesome day. Fun to get to hang out with friends and get to see Lead Fisk-a-teer Rebecca again.

My Mom (in middle) with Christa and Angel (Fisk-a-Friends, just don't know their numbers)
Start of the crop......no clue why it is at the bottom, but it won't let me change it! Maxine gave Rebecca a beautiful mixed media art piece as a thank you for coming.

Fisk-a-teer April Color Challenge - Neon
Fisk-a-teer April Color Challenge - Neon
Been a while since I have done a Fisk-a-teer challenge so I decided to try the Neon one. I used some flowers I got at the Dollar Tree (it was a lei I bought several years ago and took apart....probably 2007 or so, had never used any of the flowers.) For the sentiment I stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed using white embossing powder. I then took chalks in bright colors (pink, orange, yellow and green) and went over the embossed area.

MME Hexagon Challenge
Procrastination at its best....I waited til the last minute to do the MME April Hexagon Challenge. Then I get done in plenty of time and Blogger decides not to let me add any pictures to posts. So I am late but still submitting it since I do like the card. Today I sign as "Queen of Procrastination"

Cards.....and disappointment
Mom wanted me to make a set of cards for her friend Joan for Professional Office Administration day. I was so happy with the way all the cards came out (even with a matching box.....after messing up way too many times on that box and finally getting it right, the next day I noticed that inside the Martha Stewart Score Board is box instructions! So if you didn't know that, you do now! I don't even like the thoughts of how much paper I messed up trying to score it right!)
For the disappointment....I waited too late at night to take the pictures of the cards and even later to load them on the computer. Blurry pictures and no way to take more pictures. Oh well, here is what came out ok....

and the box top
Papers and stamps are all Pink Paisley Butterfly Garden (paper in 6x6) and I used Champagne Stickles and Staz-On ink (love that stuff) The second card has a punched butterfly from a Fiskars Butterfly punch (I stamped a medallion from the stamp set and then punched the butterfly from that image)

5 Minute Card Challenge
Taking on a 5 minute card challenge was fun. Kristina Werner posted a beautiful card last week and posted on Facebook a 5 minute card challenge. Here is a link to her original card. I look forward to Monday and Friday when her videos are posted. http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=7523
So here is my "5 minute card" More like 8 minutes 18 seconds (might have made it if I hadn't dropped the border punch in wet Stickles and had to redo them and clean the punch off)
Here are the supplies I used.....
The stamps are the "Totally Titles" from Jillian Vance Design - http://stores.ajillianvancedesign.com/-strse-44/Totally-Titles-Stamp-Set/Detail.bok
The ribbon is from Jillian Vance also....I bought it at the Scrapbook Memories Expo when I bought the stamps (can't find the ribbon on their site....I bought it for Ohio State pages but the grey matched the grey in the paper)
Here is my finished card....
